LEAGUE STUDY RESULTS IN REDISTRICTING OF FIVE COUNTY COMMISSIONER/BOARD OF EDUCATION VOTING DISTRICTS
It took seven years from the inception of our study to the passage of the resolution by the Moore County oard of Commissioners, but on January 17, 2012, the League of Women Voters of Moore County finally achieved its goal to have the five residency voting districts redrawn so that the populations would be more equal. This was an important step in achieving our larger goal of having fair representation for all Moore County citizens.
