League Luncheon / Fashion Show / Card Party

On Saturday, May 19 at the Pinehurst Members Club this fund raising event was enjoyed by all. All tables were decorated with centerpieces by Silk Sensations by Don and Patsy Hall where a delightfully visual and delicious chicken salad was enjoyed, and then lovely piano music was played by Beth Nelson while eight League volunteers modeled beautiful fashions by Talbots. The raffle ticket for the $500 gift certificate to the Grove Park Inn and Spa in Asheville was won by League member Darlene Horton! There also was a $70 50/50 Split the Pot drawing won by a grateful guest. Card players stayed an hour or so extra to enjoy their games. A sincere thank you to Chair Ann Torok and her entire committee for a successful fund raising event for our League!
