Dr John Dempsey

Dr Dempsey is the former President of Sandhills Community College and a professor of history.


In conjunction with Dr Dempsey's talk, a representative from the Country Bookshop will be in attendance so members can purchase "The Greatest Sentence Ever Written" by Walter Issacson which will be offered to League members for $20. The famed biographer explores the origins of one of the most important sentences written in American history and one that defines who we are as Americans.
